1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ascendants of Gaia, including this website and the game client (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Ascendants of Gaia is a free-to-play tactical card game. The Service is currently in alpha, and its features, content, and availability may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.
3. Accounts
You need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to cheat or exploit the Service, use unauthorized automation, reverse engineer the client, harass other users, infringe anyone’s rights, or break any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its name, artwork, characters, design, and code, belongs to Ascendants of Gaia or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it except as expressly allowed.
6. Virtual Items
In-game items, currencies, and progress have no real-world value, are licensed for use within the Service only, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may change or be removed at any time.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for breaches of these Terms or for other lawful reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Because the game is in development, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascendants of Gaia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you have paid to us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
